January 31, 2007 - UAHS Lacrosse Conditioning, Tryouts Near

The high school lacrosse season will be here even with that dusting of snow on the ground. Coach Ted Wolford will begin his 16th season with the three-time defending state champion Golden Bears and advises all prospective
players to have their participation forms turned in before the first practice Feb. 19th. Those forms are available here.

"Dress warm and be ready to run," said Wolford who will direct coaches conditioning beginning Feb. 19th and the first day of sticks will begin a weeklater, Feb. 26th. "As you get closer to the season I feed off the energy of the
players and our coaches. We'll be meeting soon and they come in fired up and ready to get started. We'll have another good group of kids and when the teams are selected you can settle down and coach."
