March 27, 2007 - Season Opener on Wednesday, March 28

The 3-time defending state champion Golden Bears, coming off a pre-season trip to Virginia, open defense of their title Wednesday, March 28th at 7:30 pm at Marv Moorehead Stadium.

The Bears will host rival Thomas Worthington, which opened its season with a 7-6 win at Cleveland St. Ignatius on Saturday. The Bears prepped for their season opener with a 4-game spring break excursion to Charlottesville and Richmond, Virginia where they opened against defending Virginia state champ Collegiate School of Richmond and ended the trip against Penn Charter of Philadelphia on Sunday.

UA will unveil a team trying to replace six seniors who are now on college rosters. Come support the Bears in person Wednesday night. Tickets are $5 at the gate. The award-winning concession stand will be open.
