5-1
Upper Arlington continues its 4-game homestand
Wednesday night, hosting rival Dublin Scioto at
7:30 at Marv Moorehead Stadium. The Golden Bears
are getting into the heart of their schedule against
Central Ohio's finest.
"We've
played a lot of big games against them,"
UA Head Coach Ted Wolford said. "We've played
them for the state in past years and they've always
been very scrappy. They get after it. They work
through the entire ballgame and they are unpredictable
and aggressive." Scioto has played well early
with an 11-5 win over Thomas Worthington already
to its credit. Added Wolford of the Irish, "They
have a young but rich tradition."
The
Bears are coming off a busy weekend, losing an
overtime game to Midwest rival Brother Rice Friday
night before beating Detroit Jesuit, 9-2 Saturday
afternoon.
