What
goes around, comes around for Upper Arlington
Mens Lacrosse. The 16-1 Golden Bears will host
Thomas Worthington Thursday night with the faceoff
set for 6:30 pm in the second round of the Ohio
High School Lacrosse Association tournament.
5th-seeded
Thomas defeated homestanding and 4th-seeded Toledo
St. John's 12-6 Tuesday night in the opening round
of the tourney. Top-seeded UA was awarded a first-round
bye. Thursday's game will be a rematch of the
Bears season opener against the Cardinals, won
by UA 9-5.
UA
Head Coach Ted Wolford is wary of the Bears first
test in the state tournament. "I think Thomas
is athletic. They've been up and down but they
are dangerous. It's nice we get to play them at
home. We always seem to find them in the playoffs
year after year."
