May 26, 2007 - UA RALLIES TO BEAT COFFMAN, ADVANCE

A slow-starting Upper Arlington Mens Lacrosse team was forced to rally from two goals down to knock off the determined Dublin Coffman Rocks, 15-6 Saturday afternoon and advance to the semifinals of the Ohio High School Lacrosse Association tournament Wednesday night.

"At this stage of the season everyone recognizes that it's one and done," said UA Head Coach Ted Wolford.

Coffman has some very good athletes and they came in here and played well early. In the second half we may have worn them down a bit."

UA is now 18-1 on the year and riding the crest of a 14-game win streak. The Golden Bears will host the Cincinnati Moeller-St. Xavier winner on Wednesday night at Marv Moorehead Stadium.
