May 12, 2008 - UA SEEDED FOURTH IN MIDWEST TOURNEY

The 14-2 Upper Arlington mens lacrosse team received their marching orders for the 2008 Midwest Scholastic Lacrosse Coaches Association tournament May 17-18 in the Detroit area. The Golden Bears are seeded fourth and will face top-seeded Brother Rice at 3 pm Saturday in their second meeting of the season on the Warriors home field. The 'A' bracket finals are Sunday at noon at Detroit Country Day School.

Second-seeded Western Reserve Academy will take on third-seeded Worthington Kilbourne in the other semifinal game. UA won the 2007 Midwest title by beating Rice at on its home field then knocking off Western Reserve Academy, 7-5 in the finals at Birmingham Seaholm High School.
